w30: day 15

I'm sure its apparent that I will not be posting on a daily basis. In fact, I rarely remember that I started this blog 15 days ago. All good, though. I have been doing fairly well and notice some leaning out on my face and belly area. Unfortunately, I had munchie attacks for the past two days that--albeit mainly W30 compliant and friendly items--had me overeating. Although I meal prepped for the next few days, I want Busboys wings and brussels.

W30: day 7

Week one is almost complete. Overall, it's been easy. Until, I ran out of groceries. Day 6, yesterday, I made my first order out--barbecue wings and pork tips, brussels and green beans. I didn't use barbecue sauce, so it was pretty clean. Unfortunately, my mood has been down today and my kitchen is bare, so I decided to relieve that with a shot of cognac in my coffee--go figure! 

Sunday, the beginning of a new week, is tomorrow and I plan to go grocery shopping. I also plan to get more exercise, air and vitamin D. Wish me well.

W30: day 2

Writing about day 2 on day 3. Another good day of eating clean but little physical movement. I had a nondairy cashew yogurt bowl for breakfast and spinach, sausage and red potatoes (the sausage had a small amount of sugar and I need to double check on having red potatoes) for my evening meal. Since there continues to be no non-compliant food items in my home, I suffered safely in my cravings. The key: throw it all out and/or don’t buy it. It’s okay if your mind and body wonder as long as your mouth doesn’t. Oh, and I drank a second cup of java in the late afternoon. Easy peasy.

W30: day 1

W30: day 1 has come to an end. I think I did well today. I had black coffee and a smoothie (banana, blueberries, almond milk and butter, and spinach) in the morning and salmon, an apple, and some nuts in the evening. While watching a new series on Netflix in which the main character was overindulging in alcohol, yes I wanted some! I also wanted french fries after someone in a commercial was eating them. Thank goodness I only have whole 30 complaint food in my house at the moment, and I'm not craving anything strongly enough to order out. Yep, I did well today.

Hello Whole30 and Blogspot!

Today is day 1 of my first whole 30 journey in 4 years. This morning, I decided to document this journey to keep myself accountable while stimulating my brain. It's been some time since I've been here as well. In fact, I can no longer locate my blogs from 2008 and 2010. So, here goes, Blogspot...let's do this!
